A translation shouldn’t leave out anything from the original text or add anything that wasn`t there before. The translator has to pick up the most subtle connotation of the source language and choose the most appropiate and natural expressions of the target language. He has to provide the means for ideas, concepts, information and stories to reach safely their new language without losing anything on the way.

Reding is part of me, I’ve always enjoyed acquiring knowledge, being transported in my imagination to new worlds, learingin new ways of looking, of feeling and understanding. In translating I have found the most careful of readings, one which won’t let you get distracted, forget something, lose the whole picture or fail to catch the relation between the different parts of the text. Hence, translating represents for me a double opportunity: to learn while working and to work bringing ideas, knowledge and stories to another language, to new readers.
